Nowadays you scarcely hear of anyone having a totally natural childbirth. But every woman of course desires it that way. It is the way nature meant it.

These days Cesarians are becoming not only common but popular too. Women do not seem to have the time or the patience for nature to run its course. Sometimes there is no choice, but some women actually prefer a C-section for convenience.

Natural childbirth is a wonder and you should try not to miss out on it. Studies are now establishing that many illnesses can be traced back to ‘non-natural’ type births. The transition through the birth canal is essential for developmental and emotional reasons.

I had two natural childbirths, both without drugs or medical intervention. My experience was one of joy. It doesn’t have to be scary or a story of horror.

Preparation is everything. I started preparing for birth before even getting pregnant but it is never too late to look into it.

What you consume is one key component. Make sure you do not eat lots of processed and sugar filled foods. Your state of wellness will decide your child’s experience and also their health.

For strength building, flexibility, breathing techniques and relaxation try out Yoga. It is the perfect solution. I cannot say I personally would have achieved both my natural childbirths without it. Most centers now do pregnancy yoga classes.

Knowledge and Techniques are the two most important factors in realizing a natural childbirth.

You need to know what your body will go through and condition it. I used some wonderful techniques such as massaging my perineum and also learning specific positions that would help my baby during contractions and the birth.

There are many ways to birth. That’s something you should look into. Maybe there is a way of birthing that really appeals to you. I had a Waterbirth which I found to be wonderful. You can find details about other such techniques and resources on my website.

Another important factor is your midwife or birthing practitioner. They will need to be on one line with you and support your want for a natural childbirth. Select one who has loads of experience and is knowledgable. Word of mouth is the best way. Once you find one form a good relationship with them. They need to know you in order to help you during the birth.

Preparation is the secret to accomplishing a natural childbirth. You can have it all and actually witness the birth of your child, it will change your life forever.

In the last decade, home schooling has become extremely popular especially with middle and upper-middle class families. There have been lots of arguments before about home schooling. Experts say that there are pros and cons in home schooling but it seems that the former outweigh the latter and therefore, a lot of families are now choosing home schooling over the traditional schools.

Cultures vary enormously and relationships within the family are affected by culture too. In some cultures, family ties are quite strong, but there are also those who don’t have very good relationships with other family members at all. However, by home schooling, family bonds can be enhanced. Parents have to spend more time with their children because of the home schooling program and the children will have to listen to their parents too. Communication is much enhanced and both parties will learn about the importance of both speaking and listening.

Many families prefer home schooling because of its flexibility. However, since the cost of home education is a bit higher than traditional schools, the financial position of the family is quite important. However, even without considering the financial factor, many parents would still opt for home schooling, because it can guarantee their kids’ safety. Public schools often have dangerous situations that can influence kids enormously, however if they are in a home schooling program, they can stay away from these predicaments and their parents will be there to supervise them.

Instead of placing the kids at a public school, many parents would prefer home schooling because the learning environment in public schools is not that good. In public schools, very young pupils may experience problems that can affect them socially, mentally, and academically for a long time. Experts that have conducted surveys, claim that children learn better in a good environment surrounded by loved ones. Another advantage of home schooling is that children can learn according to their capacity. You can’t just give a new lesson, if the previous one hasn’t been learned yet. It may take longer, but the results are better.

As said previously, home schooling is a tad more expensive. However, if you think that you might be able to reduce your child’s educational expenses, you’re almost certainly wrong. Home schooling costs are almost the equal to those of traditional schools. However, if you participate in the forums of the parents of home-schoolers, you will find that there are ways to reduce costs. Naturally, you will have to spend on the resource materials, computer, and internet, but you can also use outside resources like cultural do’s, public libraries, etc..

You will be given even more cost-saving ideas, if you get in touch with other parents. The Internet offers endless possibilities and with a bit of homework, you can surely discover ways to ease the costs. If you don’t want to hire tutors, then you will have to learn the lessons too. You have already studied the various subjects in your kids’ educational program, so you only need to review them. You can get further learning material online or the bookshop and later on, teach your kids.

So, it is obvious, that home schooling is far and away the best option, especially if your child is still rather young. So, it all depends on you and your kid, whether they continue this kind of education until they graduate for college.
